With the Ruahines towering above us we have stunning views, farm pets and unique trout fishing right at our
doorstep.
Stephen offers guided fishing and rafting trips for all ages.
Raft through the gentle crystal clear waters of the magnificent Rangitikei River, vertical papa gorges and stunning scenery you will never forget.
Our spacious home and garden allow guests private space to unwind.
Whether it is by the pool on a hot summers day with a book or taking one of the wonderful walks in the valley.
There is something special for the whole family, free farm tour and spot light safari and we are just up the valley from Mokai Gravity Canyon Bungy.
Our two beautiful and private retreats are fully self-contained with spa pools.
The River Retreat with 2 bedrooms has its own spa bath.Perfect for a honeymoon or that special occasion.
Our Tree House has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so perfect for family and friends. Soak in your own private spa pool on the edge or relax on the large decking with million dollar views of the Rangitikei River amidst native birds and trees. Peace, privacy and tranquillity at its best! We will even deliver a candle light dinner to your door if you prefer. We think Tarata is truly a magic place and we would love sharing it with you.
